Alternative Energy Inc. was founded in 2001 and grew out of the founder's desire and passion for renewable energy sustaining the global environment through clean energy generation.

Today, AEI is considered an industry leader with employees and offices in California, Arizona, and the Middle East, as well as over 12 Megawatts of successful installation.

The company is now expanding to the Middle East, recognizing the area as the next growth market. The company is always looking to the future as we intend to establish offices in other major cities throughout the world.

REVOLUTION
2001
Alternative Energy Inc is founded out of the founder's desire and passion for renewable energy to sustain the global environment through clean energy generation.
2004
AEI grows throughout the southwest of the United States, covering mostly residential and agriculture sectors.
2007
The Company is sold to a publicly traded solar company, Westinghouse Solar, and is firmly integrated as part of it. It later surpasses sale expectations by over 100%
2008
Chris Frye re-establishes AEI as a leading North Bay company in California, serving a wide array of residential and small commercial clients.
2009
AEI continues its fast growth and secured several agriculture projects, establishing itself as Sonoma County’s leading solar installer, installing over 2 MW to date.
2010
The Company opens a field office in Palm Desert, California and secures a contract with The largest Tea Factory in the world, “Traditional Medicinal” to provide a 320 KW solar roofmount for their facility.
2011

2012
AEI surpasses 10 MW installation capacity
2013
With a significant share of the U.S. Market, management considers expanding outside of the country and is introduced to influential stakeholders in the Middle East. Considering the Global market potential, AEI opens its Middle East Office with Beirut, Lebanon as its central Location.
